Day 1 Casablanca-Rabat-Fes

Arrival at Casablanca Mohammed V airport. Welcome and assistance at the airport, sightseeing tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. We will visit the exterior of the Hassan II Great Mosque, one of the Islamic world’s greatest monuments, followed by a visit to the Place Mohammed V, the United Nations Square, and the surroundings of the Royal Palace. Depart for Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. In Rabat we will visit the splendid Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and the Place des Oudayas. Late in the afternoon, we will depart for Fes with a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss I, where the founder of Islam in Morocco is buried. We departure to Meknes, which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail and is known as “the Moroccan Versailles”. Highlights will include Bab Mansour, Hari Souani and the old Medina. We will then continue to Fes and check-in at your hotel.

Day 2 Fes-Azrou-Midelt-Ziz Valley-Merzouga

Today we explore Fes, the oldest cultural and spiritual imperial city of Morocco, founded in 790 B.C by Moulay Idriss II. Highlights will include the medieval Medina, the Madrasa (an Islamic teaching university), the El Qaraouiyyin Mosque and the sumptuous Nejjarine fountain. Independent lunch followed by a visit to the “Arabian House” to observe various craftsmen performing their work reminiscent of ancient practices. Then we travel through the Middle Atlas ,we stop at the cedar forest , the largest in Morocco , on the Middle Atlas Mountains. Here we can see the Barbarian monkeys. after lunch in Midelt, traveling towards Merzouga you will notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of desert as you approach the city Errachidia. Our journey continues along the Ziz Valley and lush palm oasis of Tafilalet, famous for the cultivation of dates . This area is the foundation of the Alawite dynasty – the current royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga late afternoon, from where we start the camel trek by an experienced camel guide; explore the sea of sand of Merzouga. Night at our camp in the desert where you will have your dinner. The camp is fully equipped and enjoy a delicious Tagine and music and song by the Berber people.

Day 3 Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges-Dades Goreges

Early in the morning wake up to watch what may well may be the best sunrise of your life. you ride the camels back to your hotel where you shower and have breakfast in Merzouga. En route, you might not miss to enjoy the unique and spectacular beauty of sand dunes “Chebbi” and its changing light. After breakfast, we drive to Tinerhir and Todra Gorges – the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch at the heart of the gorge we drive through the Dades Valley, where you will see the majestic castles and amazing rock formations.

Day 4 Dades Valley-Ouarzazate-Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou-Tizi N’Ttichka Pass-Marrakech

After breakfast we drive through the Dades Valley to Ouarzazate. The road through the Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing many opportunities to take photos . We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna “Pink City”, to buy rose water, which will make your clothes smell long after your return. Continue to Marrakech via the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Built by El Glaoui And Hami, one of the last Berber leaders during the 18th century, after the visit of the Ksabah your journey continues through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon.

Day 5 Guided Tour In Marrakech

After breakfast, you can enjoy a guided morning tour of Marrakech “the Red city of Morocco.” Your guide will ensure you see all the sites with historical values and cultural interest, including Menaret Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, the beautiful Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Koranic school. Through the streets – get a chance to see all the different craftsmen of the medina performing their jobs before arriving at the famous Djamaa El Fna. Lunch in a restaurant near the place, and then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle gardens, and a small tower Gueliz – the new town of Marrakech. After dinner, you will have the opportunity to walk through the place entertained by magicians, storytellers, their teeth and food vendors.
